Today, the Department hosted an EPWP Induction Workshop at Mangaung Metropolitan Municipality. In attendance was the MEC for Public Works and Infrastructure, Dibolelo Mance, Deputy Mayor of Mangaung, Lulama Titi-Odili, MMCs, senior managers of the department, and 450 EPWP participants.
Participants officially signed their employment contracts and were inducted on the principles, objectives and opportunities of the Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP).
This initiative supports government priorities of creating work opportunities, developing skills, reducing poverty and empowering communities.
Through EPWP, the department is building stronger communities and creating pathways to a better future.
